Mindfulness Training

With an attitude of openness and non-judgement, we can change our world

What is mindfulness?

In our ultra-busy world with endless tasks and distractions, it’s becoming harder and harder to create spaces of ease.

Mindfulness training helps us unhook from habitual responses, creating a kinder relationship with the thoughts, feelings and sensations we find inside us.

When we do that, the science tells us we are more calm, more creative and more healthy. From that place of grounded presence, we can grow in ways that are more sustainable.

What I offer

As a qualified mindfulness teacher, I work with individuals, teams and organisations to increase wellbeing and creativity.

I offer two modified versions of the highly evidenced 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programme both in group and 121 settings:

  • Mindfulness for beautiful health: to support people with a kinder and calmer process of healing and recovery

  • Mindfulness for creative work: to enhance creative problem-solving and workplace wellbeing

I always adapt the programme around you, to give a structured but flexible approach to developing a mindful approach to living.

I am a qualified mindfulness teacher with the Mindfulness Now Oxford programme, which is accredited by the British Psychological Society.

Who is it for

Mindfulness practice has the potential to support everyone with the process of growth, healing and change.

At Where We Grow, I offer two routes into Mindfulness practice:

  • The wellbeing path: working with people who are experiencing periods of burnout, ill health, CFS/ME and Fibromyalgia

  • The creatives path: working with people who wish to enhance their creativity, or creatives who are feeling blocked and want to rediscover their creative sides

Before we begin we will discuss your hopes and challenges, and talk about what the sessions will be like, so you can make an informed choice about next steps.

“Mindfulness isn’t about stopping bad things from happening. It’s about opening up to the full experience of life, and learning to respond with new-found creativity and calm.”

— Kim Willis, Where We Grow

Bex Band, Founder of Love Her Wild

“Kim ran meditation for our organisation, delivering a session that was calming and relaxing. Kim is incredible and there’s never any hesitation to work with her!”

Fiona, ‘Mindfulness For Beautiful Health’ Student

“Since my sessions with Kim I sleep better and feel a greater sense of peace. I seem to be able to do more than I could — it’s amazing.”
